The evolution of the Framework Laptop 13
In 2021, we introduced the Framework Laptop 13, a thin-and-light notebook built to be repairable, upgradeable, and customizable. From the start, our goal was to build high-performance hardware that stays yours. Seven generations later, we’ve continued to push performance forward while rethinking nearly every subsystem.

Framework Laptop 13 Pro is a new system built on what we’ve learned from Framework Laptop 13. It brings performance and refinement improvements driven by community feedback, while maintaining compatibility where possible. Many upgrades are available for existing systems, with some requiring bundled components due to internal changes.
