Framework Computer Inc Limited Warranty
By using your Framework Computer Inc ("Framework") product, you agree to be bound by the terms of the Framework Limited Warranty ("Warranty") below. This Warranty is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Sale. All capitalized terms used in this Warranty without definition will have the same meanings set forth in the Terms of Sale.
If you do not agree to the terms of the Warranty, please return the Product within the return period stated in the Terms of Sale.
This Warranty applies to Framework-branded products purchased from Framework or an authorized reseller, and applies only in countries to which Framework ships and supports.
For Customers in Australia: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Framework warrants that Framework branded products, parts, and modules ("Product") when used in accordance with Framework documentation and guidance, are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery of the Product (the “Warranty Period”), unless a different period is specified in the order confirmation or invoice of the Product.
Method of Warranty
To submit a Warranty claim, contact Framework Support at support@frame.work. If Framework determines in its sole discretion that the Product has a defect or malfunction that is covered under the Warranty, we will determine in our sole discretion whether to repair, replace, or refund the Product to resolve the issue.
If possible, Framework will provide replacement parts or modules and repair guides to enable you to self-service your Product. Framework is not responsible for any labor or equipment costs you incur self-servicing your repair. In some cases, Framework may determine that a full Product replacement is required. The replacement Product, parts, or modules may be new or refurbished items that are equivalent in performance and reliability to the original.
If Framework determines that a Product, part, or module needs to be replaced, we will provide instructions for return of the replaced item. Framework may require a credit card authorization for the retail price of the replacement item, which is released when Framework receives the replaced item. If Framework does not receive the replaced item as instructed or the replaced item is ineligible for Warranty service, Framework will charge your card for the authorized amount.
If Framework determines full unit repair is required rather than field replacement, we will provide a prepaid mailing label and, if necessary, packaging material and instructions. Framework will perform repair on the Product, or, if necessary, issue an equivalent replacement Product.
All returned Framework Products, parts, or modules become Framework’s property.
Any Product, part, or module repaired or replaced under this Warranty will continue to be covered by the Warranty for the greater of the remainder of the original Warranty period or (90) days following your receipt of the repaired or replacement Product, part, or module, unless a mandatory provision of your local law provides otherwise.

- Damage caused by repair that does not follow Framework-published repair guides.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THIS WARRANTY, FRAMEWORK DOES NOT MAKE (AND HAS NOT AUTHORIZED ANYONE TO MAKE) ANY EXPRESS OR WARRANTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NONINFRINGEMENT, PROVIDED THAT FOR WARRANTED PRODUCTS IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE NOT ENTIRELY DISCLAIMED BUT ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD. FRAMEWORK HAS NOT AUTHORIZED ANYONE TO MAKE ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY OTHER THAN AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY. Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.
This Warranty does not cover data loss. The Customer should back up all data and programs before performing repairs or returning a Product, as repair service may require reformatting storage or re-installing an operating system.
No Framework employee, reseller, or other agent is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this Warranty. If any term in this Warranty is held to be illegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be affected or impaired.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR PROVINCE TO PROVINCE.
