DeepComputing RISC-V Mainboard

The Framework Laptop 13 RISC-V Edition Mainboard, developed in partnership with DeepComputing, provides access to the open-source RISC-V architecture. This mainboard features a StarFive JH7110 processor with four SiFive U74 RISC-V cores and is compatible with the Framework Laptop 13 chassis and the Cooler Master Mainboard Case. Targeted towards developers, tinkerers, and early adopters, this platform allows exploration and development within the RISC-V ecosystem. While performance and peripheral capabilities are currently limited, it offers a unique opportunity to engage with this emerging technology in a refined laptop form factor. Linux support is provided through Ubuntu and Fedora, and all technical support will be provided by the DeepComputing team.

Please note that the board has 8GB of LPDDR4 soldered memory and uses MicroSD/eMMC storage. This is very much a developer-focused board to help accelerate maturing the software ecosystem around RISC-V, so we recommend waiting for future RISC-V products if you’re looking for a consumer-ready experience.
