Refurbished laptops typically start from the small number of returns we get from our 30 day return policy.  They then go through an extensive test and cleaning process at our service center in New Jersey, where any parts that don’t meet our specifications are replaced.

Refurbished products may have some small cosmetic issues that don’t impact functionality, like minor scratches and scuffing on the lid or base.  Our service center grades approves refurbished systems and modules based on the following grading criteria.

Some small scratches allowed, no more than 10 scratches, no more than 2 cm in length.

Input Cover
No dents, some small scratches allowed, no more than 15 scratches, no more than 2 cm in length.

Some small scratches allowed, no more than 15 scratches, no more than 2 cm in length.

Bottom
Some small scratches allowed, no more than 30 scratches, no more than 5 cm in length. No cracks, breaks, or chips.
